Christmas - the season of crafting dreams. So much glitter, sparkley stuff and fake snow. This is a perfect time to get creative with your kids to make gifts, Christmas cards and decorations.
Some of things you make now will become treasured crafts that get dug out of the loft every year. Ideal to reminise each year about when they were little and embarrassing parent gold for when they are teenagers.
Festive tummies Christmas Cards
I love these cards so much. Really simple but so effective and super cute. All you need are buttons and card for the basic design and you can embellish to your hears content. I used glitter card for Santa's belt buckle and little strips of wool for the Snowman's teeny tiny scarf.
Rudolf and Elf party hats
If you love crafting but don't have a pompom maker yet then my one bit of Christmas advice would be to buy one - buy one now! They are amazing and make pompom making really easy for you and the kids. Then you can use it to make these fab Christmas party hats by adding some colour card and your imagination. Ditch the paper cracker hats and whip up a batch of these for an extra fun Christmas dinner.
Snowflake tree decorations
Feathers, jewels, glitter, colour shapes - you can throw everything at these snowflakes and they will still look amazing. Set up a little craft station with loads of choices and let the kids go crazy with it all. Just start off with a basic snowflake shape made from strips of ice blue or white card and you are off.
Merry Christmas and happy crafting everyone.
